Privacy Policy

QuizzyKids is operated by Mobimint (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the QuizzyKids mobile app, how we use it, and the choices available to parents and guardians.

QuizzyKids is an educational app for children and is intended to be used with a parent or guardian. By creating an account or allowing a child to use the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we may collect:

name
email address
password (stored by our authentication provider, not in readable form)
sign-in details if you use Sign in with Apple or Google
optional profile details you enter, such as age or date of birth and an avatar

Progress and gameplay

We store learning and game progress, including stars (in-app bonuses), unlocked games, achievements, visit streaks, and related gameplay events. This is needed to keep the child’s progress across sessions.

Device and app data

We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, and approximate diagnostics needed to run the app and ads.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we schedule local reminders (for example, to return to the app or continue a streak). We do not send marketing SMS.

Advertising identifiers

On iOS 14 and later, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, advertising partners may use the device advertising identifier to measure ads. If you decline, we still show ads, but they are less personalized. QuizzyKids treats ads as directed to children (see section 4).

2. How we use information

We use this information to:

create and maintain your account
save progress, stars, and unlocked content
provide games, reading, and learning features
show advertising that helps keep the app free
reward optional video views with stars
understand how the app is used and fix problems
send optional local notifications you allow
respond to support requests
comply with law and App Store / Google policies

3. Children’s privacy (COPPA)

QuizzyKids is directed to children. We do not require a child to provide more personal information than needed to use the app.

A parent or guardian should create and manage the account. We do not knowingly allow children to publish personal information, chat with strangers, or share location.

We configure our advertising SDK for child-directed treatment so that ads are intended to be appropriate for a general-audience / children’s context and not used to build profiles of children for interest-based advertising beyond what the platform and ad partner allow.

If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in a way that is not permitted, contact admin@mobimint.app and we will review and delete it where required.

Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s account data using the in-app Delete account option or by emailing us.

4. Advertising

The app displays third-party ads, including:

banners on main screens and some game hubs
occasional full-screen ads after a win (not after every win)
optional rewarded videos when a parent or child chooses “Watch video” to earn stars

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device and ad-related data as described in Google’s policies. We do not sell children’s personal information.

Rewarded ads are optional. Stars are granted only if the video is completed, according to the app’s rules.

You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings. Declining tracking does not remove all ads.

5. Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage (for example, which screens are opened and whether a game was completed). This helps us improve QuizzyKids. Analytics is linked to our Firebase project and is not used to sell data.

6. Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate the app:

Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, file storage, analytics
Google AdMob — advertising
Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in
Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store, and device services

These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms and privacy policies. We share information with them only as needed to provide QuizzyKids.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

with the providers listed above to run the app and ads
if required by law or to protect safety, rights, or the integrity of the app
as part of a business transfer (for example, if Mobimint is acquired), with notice where required

We do not allow users to message each other or publicly post personal information inside QuizzyKids.

8. Retention and security

We keep account and progress data while the account is active. If you delete the account in the app, we delete the associated Firebase user record and profile we control, subject to backup and legal retention limits.

We use industry-standard security measures (including encrypted connections). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices

You can:

update profile details in Settings
turn notifications off in iOS Settings or in the app where available
decline App Tracking if prompted
delete your account in Settings → More → Delete account
contact us at admin@mobimint.app for access, correction, or deletion requests

10. International users

We may process data on servers located outside your country (including services provided by Google and Apple). If you use QuizzyKids, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on https://mobimint.app.

Welcome to QuizzyKids. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (the parent or guardian, and the child using the app under your supervision) and Mobimint (“we”, “us”).

By downloading, creating an account, or using QuizzyKids, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at https://mobimint.app/quizzy-kids/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

QuizzyKids is a free educational app with games, reading, and learning activities for children. It is for personal, non-commercial use only.

We may add, change, or remove features, games, or content at any time.

2. Parental responsibility

QuizzyKids is designed for children and should be used with a parent or guardian.

You confirm that:

you are a parent or legal guardian, or you have permission from one
you will supervise the child’s use of the app where appropriate
account information (such as email) belongs to you or is used with your consent

You are responsible for the account and for any activity under it.

3. Account

You may create an account with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details safe. You may delete the account in Settings → More → Delete account.

We may suspend or close an account if these Terms are broken or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the app for anything unlawful
attempt to hack, copy, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app or our servers
cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate stars or unlocks in an unauthorized way
upload harmful content or try to collect personal information from other users
use the app for commercial purposes without our written permission

There is no in-app chat or social posting. Please do not enter a child’s full address, phone number, or other sensitive data into profile fields.

5. Stars and virtual items

Stars are a virtual bonus used inside QuizzyKids (for example, to start some games or unlock content). Stars:

have no real-money value
cannot be exchanged for cash
may be earned by playing, daily bonuses, or optionally watching a rewarded ad
may be changed, reset, or removed if we update the economy or detect abuse

Unless required by law, stars are not refundable.

6. Advertising

QuizzyKids is free and is supported by ads (banners, occasional full-screen ads after wins, and optional rewarded videos).

Ads are provided by third parties (including Google AdMob). We aim to show ads appropriate for a children’s / family context and enable child-directed ad settings in our advertising SDK.

Rewarded videos are optional. You (or the child, with your permission) choose to watch them in exchange for stars.

7. Notifications

The app may ask permission to send local notifications (reminders to play or continue a streak). You can disable them in device settings.

8. Intellectual property

The app, name, design, games, text, and media are owned by Mobimint or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use QuizzyKids on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store terms.

You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content except as allowed by law.

9. Third-party services

Sign-in, cloud save, analytics, and ads rely on Apple and Google services. Their terms and privacy policies also apply. We are not responsible for those services when they operate independently of us.

10. Disclaimer

QuizzyKids is provided “as is” for learning and entertainment. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every child or educational goal.

To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Mobimint is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of progress, stars, or data, arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use QuizzyKids after a change, you accept the new Terms. The current version is available in the app and at https://mobimint.app/quizzy-kids/privacy.
